Shoreline Park #1

This park is a great park for active families. There are lots of areas to explore the surroundings and ending the session down at the creek is such a great experience.
It is a great location year-round. Fall leaves start in late October and continue to late November. There is a little pocket of wildflowers that pop up in September that are amazing as well.

I feel this park photographs best in the morning, but late afternoon works well too. It is super shady, so it’s a great option for hot summer days (not to mention getting to cool off in the creek!).

The walk down to the creek is not long, but it is steep. I recommend having comfy shoes and no stroller for this journey. Bring a towel to dry off with at the end of the creek-play time also.
If the trip to the creek does not feel like a good idea, we can totally skip it. There are lots of great places even if we don’t go to it.

One important note… there is zero bathrooms here and the next closest public bathroom is a quick 5 minute drive. Make sure you go before you arrive!
